Our client is an industry leader in providing tailored insurance and financial services. You will be reporting directly to the Development Manager, highly motivated and keen to learn new skills. My client is committed to using the latest iSeries technologies including RPG/Free, SQL/RPG, Service programs and sub-procedure calls.
To be successful in this role you will also need the following:
High level RPG/ILE knowledge
Excellent SDLC
Excellent analysis skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret functional and technical programming specifications, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
Nice to have:
Familiarity with the WDSc or any other Eclipse-based development environment would be an advantage
